Superman Halloween Costumes

Just as Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest will help to make pirate costumes sought after for several years to come, the 2007 release of Superman Returns, with Brandon Routh as the new Superman, will no doubt push Superman costumes close to the top of the list for Halloween costumes.
Despite now living in the Philippines, it was good to see a child wearing a Superman costume when out for a Sunday stroll with his family in July 2007. This classic comic character is sure to have been given yet another new lease of life, and seeing that child Superman was evidence of that on the remote tropical island where I now live.
However, it is not just children who can dress up as Superman for Halloween. As you can see from the above picture (centre) you can also get cute baby Superman costumes. There is no reason why babies should not be a part of a Halloween party, though they do need to be given very special care to ensure they are kept warm, and are not frightened in any way. If a Halloween party is design to create scary effects and incidents, then babies are probably best kept aside. To take along on trick 'n treating, though, should be just fine, with the proper precautions and care.
The "real" Superman, of course, is an adult male, so the most effective Superman costumes are just that: Superman, not Superwoman or Superbaby however gorgeous they may look. The Superman costume pictured above (left) is a collectors item. The jump suit is made from latex, and shows off a brilliant muscular effect that will have the ladies reeling. This superior Superman costume is out of the ordinary, and that is reflected in the price. Fortunately for those with more normal budgets, other Superman costumes can easily be found at less than 10% of that price.
Not to be outdone, the ladies can have their own design of Superman costume, and an example is shown at the top (centre). This girl's outfit would go down a treat at Halloween, and includes cape, leotard and skirt, belt and boot tops.
