St Patricks Day Costumes, Hats and Accessories - Ready For The Big Irish Celebration
Ireland, the land of leprechauns, luscious ladies, love lyrics and lyrical love; famous for Riverdance, Dublin and St Patrick's Day. When it comes to the parades, if you want to join in, just buy a St Patrick's Day costume and jump in their. The Irish are very welcoming, so whatever your nationality, they will be glad to have you in their parade.

All in all, Ireland is about the most hospitable country in Europe, and the Irish are probably the nicest people; and I say that as an Englishman now living in the Philippines.
I am often asked by Filipinos here about working abroad, Europe or the US. I always recommend Ireland as the first day to try, as the Irish people are closer to the Filipino character than any other. Warm, welcoming and hospital...all traits of Filipinos and Irish people around the world.
The other thing that immediately brings Ireland and the Irish to mind is St Patrick's Day. The Green Day is not about a green environment, but a day to celebrate Ireland's patron saint, St Patrick.
With so many Irish descendants in the US and Britain, St Patrick's Day is one of the major celebrations in both countries; not forgetting Ireland itself of course. Other countries too no doubt have their Irish contingent going bright green for the day.
Dressing up for St Patrick's is all about fun and being...well, green. There are some great costumes as you will see above (courtesy of Annie's Costumes), and even if you do not want a full costume, just a green wig or hat will get you in the festive Irish spirit for that St Patrick's Day parade or party.
