Halloween Bat Props

Bats and vampires feature strongly in horror movies, and have done for decades. Bats are also a favourite for Halloween. In real life, bats are amazing creatures, as a large bat displayed two evenings ago in our home. It flew into our house, which is on a tropical island, through the open front door. My wife called me as it flew above her head in the sala, took a left turn along a hallway, did a u-turn, before flying right out again, only to repeat the tour for my benefit a few seconds later as I arrived in the room.
I was in awe at the brilliance of the bat's navigational system, with no hint of panic or hitting a wall as a bird would do. I had seen similar occurrences on another island some years ago. My wife had more of the traditional fear that bats induce in some, though not much, as she remained calm and sat still as I suggested. Unless the bat was sick, there was no way it would hit anything.
When it comes to Halloween, though, very few can call upon a large bat to make a dramatic entry, so bat Halloween props are a good secondary idea; and the intention then is to induce fear, even if it is only as a bit of fun. The first is a fairly simple, and cheap, decoration, a bat strand with bats in black and purple.
The middle picture is also a simple decoration, a foil bat decoration called Bat Attack, which, although more expensive than the first itme, stays under the $10 mark. The final picture is another cheap prop, consisting of five giant bat decorations. All these bat props could play an effective part in your Halloween decor display.
