Whatever the party, Halloween or other fancy dress occasion, there is always a need for some humor. If every one around you is dressed in scary, horrific, or ultra sexy costumes, there are some of us, around especially, who like to be different. No serious stuff, just fun. I remember when I walked into our local English pub on New Year's Eve in 1998, wearing that road sign outfit. The reaction was great. In fact, even as I walked to the pub, a coach load of visitors passed and many were delighted and gave a few waves as they went passed. Swanage, where I lived before I left England, was famous for dressing up in funny costumes on new Year's Eve, and visitors from the rest of England and even Europe turned up every year.
